*FULL VIEW PLEASE

The first finished piece of year 2009 and a lil' birthday present for myself. I always wanted to draw my favorite Android 13 and 17 in different outfits and an environment since I barley draw them. The day before the New Years, I realized that I had so many ideas and pictures that I never finished drawing and my "to draw" list started to expand, so I decided to change the ideas and plans around and decided to make this into my b-day pic with just 13 and 17 in an environment.

I had 13's line art finished after Christmas and finished up 17 after the New Years, and the shitty part was drawing the environment. My first idea for the environment didn't quite work out and it was pain in the ass to draw it in the sketchbook and scan it and composit it, so I just drew the environment right in photoshop after I layed the characters out in position. It was hell of a lot of work since I had to finish up the characters first, make the crate in 3D to get the right perspective, composite it, and then draw the environments (so many f*cking layers). Ah well... I think it came out decently alright. I had to kick myself in the ass and draw an environment instead of keep running away from it, so it was a good practice.

I thought 13 would look kinda cool with the camouflage print pants and the Jason mask. Over the summer, I was thinking about drawing Android 13 with a Jason mask and not too long after that, I ran into this Japanese person's DBZ fanart page and she did a little oekaki of Android 13 holding a Jason mask next to his face and it made me really wanna draw one myself
